Dear Fifth Grade Families,
October 24th is picture retake day. We will be having our Living Rosary at 2pm in the church. If you can please join us. Friday is a noon dismissal.
Please have your child wear their P.E. uniform on Thursday. Every night your child should be reviewing their Social Studies and Science notes. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or concerns. My email address is fifthgrade@sacredheartschoolventura.org.
Below is an overview of our week.
Math: Our chapter 2 math test will be Wednesday, October 24th. Next chapter we will focus on multiplication.
Science: Chapter 3. We will begin with the respiratory and circulatory systems.
Vocabulary: Unit 4.
Spelling: Unit 4. We will have a pretest on Thursday. We will have our test this Friday.
Social Studies: We will have our Chapter 2 test on Monday. We will evaluate the early Europeans and Asian visits to the Americas.
English: Our objective this week is to be able to identify and write the present, past, and future tense of a verb.
Religion: This week we will focus on the Rosary and the Mysteries of the Rosary.
Literature: We will continue reading our novel, Indian in the Cupboard.
