- Halloween donuts on Monday!
- Halloween tattoo money collected Monday through Thursday morning
- Art Lesson with Miss Nancy on Tuesday
- Wednesday – American Cancer Society free dress PLEASE bring in $$$
- Thursday is Halloween! Tattoos and free free dress – no costumes
- All Saints Day on Friday, all families are welcome to attend 8:30 Mass with us.
- Friday is a noon dismissal.
Academics for the week!
- Religion continues with reading about our Saints – and I hope to begin an art project on some of the saints.
- English language arts – Completing chapter 2 with sort 7 Cleaning Items -we sort and note difference with personal and household cleaning. Reading workshop continues with non-fiction reading. Phonics workshop will begin Book 2 Word Detectives. Learning and looking for sight words as we read.
- Math lessons – counting by 10s and recognizing the numerals in multiples of 10 to 100. Also looking at teen numbers 11 -19. Measuring items with non-standard units, our hands, feet, etc.
- Science – a new Young Explorer Magazine and a Mystery Science lesson, “Why Do Our Skeletons Have So Many Bones?”
Saint’s Parade is Friday, November 8 at 8:30. Please have your child come dressed in costume with uniform underneath.
