Dear Families,

This Tuesday we will be going to the Skirball Center Museum .  Students will be wearing uniforms.  Please make sure your child arrives to school on time as we will be boarding the bus at 7:55 am. Students are to bring a sack lunch.

Thursday is a free dress day and Halloween tattoos can be purchased for $1.00 a piece. Friday is a noon dismissal.

Below is an overview of our week:

Math:  We will be solving addition and subtraction number stories.

Science:  Due to our field trip the Science test has been moved to Thursday.

Vocabulary: Unit 4

Social Studies:  Students trace the routes of early explorers and describe the early explorations of the Americas.

Grammar:  We will start  Unit 2 with a review of common and proper nouns.  We will also be working with singular and plural nouns.

ELA:  All groups are working on the rough draft for their informative writing essays.

Religion:  We will continue our study of the Rosary and the the mysteries of the Rosary.  Friday is our Saint Parade.  Please join us if your schedule allows.
