Families with kindergarten students who are joining their siblings at SHS, as well as families with first-eighth grade students new to our school, are asked to come to an orientation on Wednesday, August 9 at 5p.  Please note this time is a change for families new to SHS in grades one to eight. 

Mrs. Brown and other staff members will be working with our kindergarten students in their classroom for about 45 minutes. With lots of siblings of existing SHS students in this year’s kindergarten, many families are familiar with the information covered in the orientation that takes place while the kinder students are with Mrs. Brown.  Those families are welcome to stay on campus or return by 5:45p to pick up their students.

For families new to kindergarten and all other grades, the 45-minute orientation will cover schedules, necessities, service hours, scrip, and other pertinent information to start the school year while the kinder students are with Mrs. Brown.  Any questions can be answered during this time too!

Reminder for kinder families:  Supplies are welcome at the orientation, but may be brought to school on August 16 as well.
