In the Science Lab the students observed water moving in celery. The students placed stalks of celery in colored water. Twenty four hours later the colored water had traveled up the celery!

Our outdoor garden/lab is crawling with over 20 monarch caterpillars. One students said it looks like a caterpillar party! Monarchs are visiting the milkweed to feed and lay eggs. Every month students and staff prepare for an emergency situation by participating in fire, earthquake, and lockdown drills. Monday, September 30, we successfully practiced a fire evacuation drill as the alarm sounded at 2:30p and all assembled on the field.
