The 6th grade viewed amazing pictures and video from King Tut’s display and discussed Egyptian culture. The vocabulary word from their lesson is kitchen midden, which is a fancy term for ancient history garbage!
The 7th grade is learning about the Middle East culture and the foundation of Islam. They are using the CIA and World Book websites to gather information on a country and make a poster. They will share their posters with the class next Wednesday when they are due!
