Saturday’s Joseph Palmisano Memorial Basketball Clinic held at the Saint Bonaventure High School Gym was well-attended! Students from Sacred Heart School, as well as students from many other Ventura County schools, kept the sound of bouncing basketballs and squeaking court shoes strong throughout the morning clinic. Basketball players from third to ninth grade attended the two-hour clinic, improved their skills, and enjoyed their time on the court. Four of the eight Palmisano siblings coached various stations with the help of a coach and some team members from Santa Clara High School as Mrs. Palmisano oversaw registration making sure that everyone received a shirt, a Power Bar, and Jelly Bellies. We are grateful to The Palmisano Family and all who attended this year’s sixth annual clinic!

Education at Sacred Heart School is centered in Christ and is concerned with the development of the whole child. We are committed to helping students grow in trust and devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus as well as to helping them grow in the spirit of prayer, service and leadership in the Christian community. Sacred Heart School cooperates with and assists the parents or legal guardians, who are the primary educators of their children. Along with teaching Catholic dogma, doctrine, and morals, Sacred Heart School maintains a strong, innovative curriculum. It is our goal to promote a school atmosphere that is enlivened by Gospel values, intellectual proficiency, and self-esteem.
