Our annual writing competition in each class is coming to a close! This year each student writes in response to the prompt that comes from this year’s Catholic Schools Week theme: Catholic Schools: Communities of Faith, Knowledge, and Service viewed through the words of Pope Francis:

“At Sacred Heart School, we are all members of a community of faith, knowledge, and service. As a member of this community how can you share your gifts of faith, knowledge and service with your school community?”
Next week, the names of the class finalists will be announced and The Palmisano Family begins the challenging process of selecting a single winner from the primary, intermediate, and middle school levels as each receives a month’s tuition to be used by their families in this or the coming school year. The three winners are announced annually at a special assembly held on March 19, the feast day of Saint Joseph, in honor of Joseph Palmisano, the late husband of Mary Palmisano who administers The Joseph Palmisano Scholarship Fund for Sacred Heart School.
