The early morning assembly opened with a prayer led by a member of the Spiritual Department.

The 8th grade students raised the United States and California flags and led The Pledge of Allegiance.

“George Washington” made a guest appearance and told us about his life and efforts to lead the troops during The Revolutionary War, to create The Constitution, and to lead the new country as its first President.

Other 8th grade students shared information about the changing look of the United States of America flag through the years.

Finally, the assembly ended with the prayer, WE ARE AMERICA.
