On March 19, Father Cyprian Carlo, pastor of Sacred Heart Church, celebrates the 40th anniversary of his ordination to the priesthood.  With us since July of 2009, he has done much to make Sacred Heart Parish & School a wonderful place!  Our students surprised Father Cyprian at the Friday school Mass with an acknowledgment of the many gifts he has brought to our parish and school.  This prayer, composed by an 8th grade student, is offered for Father Cyprian.

Heavenly Lord,

We have been blessed with the gift of our parish and school.  Today we ask a special blessing upon Father Cyprian who has been a shepherd to the congregation as well as the school throughout the years.  Bless him with peace and happiness as he continues to serve many people in his role as a priest.  Help us to cherish and recognize the gift of his presence, and to grow in love with You through him.

Thank you, Father Cyprian, for your abundant blessing and service.
