The second Sunday of Advent is this weekend. The Gospel for Year C on Sunday is from Luke and discusses the government at the time of John the Baptist. The reading also carries the message from John the Baptist that all must prepare and make straight the path for the coming of Jesus. The 8th grade class reflected on how their actions speak about who they are as a person and the importance of preparing for Christmas.

6th, 7th, and 8th grade are completing an Advent book where they write down a new idea each day to prepare for the coming of Jesus. Their ideas include ways to help the family and siblings. These will come home next Friday so please review them and make sure they are completing all their wonderful ideas!
