Kindergarten, First & Second Grade students, their families, and teachers spent much time preparing for this year’s longstanding Sacred Heart School tradition. With each student dressed as a saint, the kindergarten, first, and second grade students entered the church with Father Cyprian & the altar servers and sat in the first pews throughout the Mass. As Mass ended, each student had a turn to announce which saint they were portraying with second grade students speaking several sentences about their saint. Finally, students in grades three through eight, the staff, and all family members and guests assembled under the school’s patio cover to avoid a gentle rain as our saints paraded around Sacred Heart School. We hope everyone enjoyed this important event that introduces and reinforces our Catholic devotion to the saints.

Education at Sacred Heart School is centered in Christ and is concerned with the development of the whole child. We are committed to helping students grow in trust and devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus as well as to helping them grow in the spirit of prayer, service and leadership in the Christian community. Sacred Heart School cooperates with and assists the parents or legal guardians, who are the primary educators of their children. Along with teaching Catholic dogma, doctrine, and morals, Sacred Heart School maintains a strong, innovative curriculum. It is our goal to promote a school atmosphere that is enlivened by Gospel values, intellectual proficiency, and self-esteem.
