We welcome everyone to the 2012-2013 school year on Wednesday, August 15 with the first bell ringing at 7:50a. An assembly will begin our day and family members are invited to stay for the assembly if schedules allow. Please bring all school supplies and completed summer work, as well as a snack in the new lunch container. Since it is the feast day of Our Lady of the Assumption, Mass will be celebrated at 11a with the children’s choir performing. Again, family members are invited to return to campus early to join us for Mass on this holy day of obligation. The school day will end at noon on the 15th, 16th, and 17th as we adjust to the return to school with EDC open each day for students who remain on campus after 12:15p.

Education at Sacred Heart School is centered in Christ and is concerned with the development of the whole child. We are committed to helping students grow in trust and devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus as well as to helping them grow in the spirit of prayer, service and leadership in the Christian community. Sacred Heart School cooperates with and assists the parents or legal guardians, who are the primary educators of their children. Along with teaching Catholic dogma, doctrine, and morals, Sacred Heart School maintains a strong, innovative curriculum. It is our goal to promote a school atmosphere that is enlivened by Gospel values, intellectual proficiency, and self-esteem.
