Dear Families,

We begin our ITBS testing this week.  The testing will last for two weeks.  We will start testing Tuesday morning.  Please make sure your child is well rested and has had a good breakfast before school.  Our academic routine will be lighter these next two weeks as we will be focusing on ITBS testing.    We will have our regular spelling test this Friday.  We also will be having our regular P.E. schedule.

I look forward to seeing everyone this Wednesday for Parent Night at 6:30.  I will be discussing Science.

Below is an overview of the week:

Spelling: Unit 32, more suffixes.

Voc: Unit 3

Math: Adding and subtracting decimals.  We will be estimating to check our work.  This week we will also be working on problem solving strategies..

Religion: Please feel free to join us for mass on Friday. We will continue working on unit 1 .

Science: We will continue with chapter 1

Social Studies: We will continue continue with chapter 1.

Literature:  We will continue reading our story, Indian in the Cupboard.
