Dear Families,

The fifth grade class will continue with testing this week.  The students are doing a wonderful job with testing.  This Friday is a full day.  Please have your child review their Science and Social Studies notes nightly.  This week students need to complete 3 Acc math assignments.  Below is an overview of our week.

Religion:  We will complete the Parts of the Mass this week and will have a quiz on it next Wednesday.

Math:  We will be working on prime factorization with exponents.

Science:  We will begin reviewing for our first test, which will be next Thursday.

Social Studies:  We will be comparing and contrasting Native American homes and living conditions.

Voc.:  Our Unit 2 test is tomorrow.  We will begin Unit 3 later this week.

ELA:  The students are finishing their We are the Ship opinion essays this week.  The students have done a wonderful job with the writing process. We will begin Unit 2 next week.

Grammar:  We will be finishing Unit 1 this week.
