Dear Families,

We continue with our ITBS and Cogat testing this week.  The students are doing a great job with the testing.  Our first field trip is coming up on October 7th.  If you have not done so already please return the permission slip and the monies.  Below is an overview of our week.

Math:  We will continue with the partial difference method and begin our study on addition and subtraction number stories.  IXL sections this week are F.4 Multiplying numbers ending in zero, and D1, Add and subtract whole numbers up to billions.

Science:  We will begin chapter 2 this week.  Our focus is plants use energy from the sun to make food.

Social Studies:  We will have our test on chapter 2 this Wednesday.  The  test will be on lessons 1 – 4.

Vocabulary:  We will have our unit 2 vocabulary test on Thursday.

Religion:  We will continue with Baptism united us with the Christian community.
