Dear Parents,

I hope everyone had a restful long weekend.  This Friday is Grandparents Day.  Please join us if your schedule allows.  This Friday is also a noon dismissal.  September 10th is our first field trip to  the Ronald Reagan Library. Today students are taking home their Red Tuesday folders.

Below please find an overview of our week:

Voc: Unit 2

Grammar:  Compound Subjects and Predicates.

English Language Arts:  We are beginning  our group projects for We are the Ship.

Science: Chapter 1.  We are focusing on multicellular organisms and their specialized structures.

Social Studies:  This Thursday is our first States quiz.  We will begin analyzing the nomadic nations of the Great Plains.

Math:  In class we will be creating rectangular arrays using markers.  We will continue with factors and factor pairs.  Please make sure that if your child is with me for math that they complete three Acc assignments  a week.

Religion:  We are focusing on the first part of the Mass.
