Dear Families,

Thank you to all grandparents and special guests for coming to Grandparents Day on Friday.  It was so nice to watch the interactions of family!  This Wednesday is Picture Day.  Please make  sure your student is wearing school uniforms.  Friday will be a full day of school.  Below please find an overview of our week:

Math:  We will be having our first math vocabulary quiz on Wednesday.  Thursday will be our Unit 1 test.  This week we will be learning about factor strings and prime factorization. The  IXL section this week is K.2 prime factorization.

Social Studies:  September 23rd will be our next States Test.  This week we will finish up with the Native Americans of the Southwest and we will begin our study of the Native Americans of the Great Plains.

Science:  We will continue with Cell Organization.

Grammar:  We will be learning all about Compound Subjects and Predicates.

ELA:  We are finishing up our books on Unit 1.  We will begin Unit 2 after ITBS testing is completed.

Religion:  We continue with Unit 2, Jesus Calls  Us to Worship.
