Please encourage your student(s) to eat the foods you select for snacks and lunches and to bring home anything uneaten. Our trash containers hold many uneaten sandwiches & other entrees, unopened yogurt & fruit containers, and more. Please continue to discourage trading and sharing food and remind your student(s) that what is normal and healthy for some, may be a danger to others with food allergies or other issues. Warm days leave many students with little to drink by lunchtime as drinks are consumed during the snack time at recess. Packing more water in the lunch containers is an advantage for all. For students who stay for Extended Day Care, we continue to follow a schedule of specific snacks for each day.

Education at Sacred Heart School is centered in Christ and is concerned with the development of the whole child. We are committed to helping students grow in trust and devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus as well as to helping them grow in the spirit of prayer, service and leadership in the Christian community. Sacred Heart School cooperates with and assists the parents or legal guardians, who are the primary educators of their children. Along with teaching Catholic dogma, doctrine, and morals, Sacred Heart School maintains a strong, innovative curriculum. It is our goal to promote a school atmosphere that is enlivened by Gospel values, intellectual proficiency, and self-esteem.
