Every year, Sacred Heart School participates in the national spelling bee as five/six students from each class in grades 4-7, and all who elect from 8th grade, compete on stage in Biedermann Hall. Last year’s event was held virtually, but we return to Biedermann Hall this year!
Following the Christmas vacation and January preparations, spellers remain on stage as they spell correctly until only two remain.
Intense throughout, the spell-off moments are extremely so! If your schedule allows, please join us for this educational and exciting event. Following our attendance at Mass, we will have some time at recess and begin our bee. We estimate the start at about 10a on this Friday Noon Dismissal day.
Competition for our winner continues in the Ventura County Spelling Bee and other bees that lead to the big one in Washington DC.
