Please plan on joining to walk a portion of Main Street as part of parade in Ventura. Our Middle School students completed the banners for the “float” last Friday and every possible shade of green is reflected! One of our school families graciously provides us with our “float” as they did for last summer’s Fair Parade and that provides a few spots to sit but most of us will walk. We hope your family will be able to join in the fun of this parade as we celebrate Sacred Heart School’s 30th Anniversary. Please wear as much green as possible even though it is not our color! The parade starts at 10a but we will be assembling prior to that. The entry closing date is March 4th and then the parade organizers will give us our line-up information. All of this will be shared with you in next week’s Family Letter.
Mrs. Benner
Education at Sacred Heart School is centered in Christ and is concerned with the development of the whole child. We are committed to helping students grow in trust and devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus as well as to helping them grow in the spirit of prayer, service and leadership in the Christian community. Sacred Heart School cooperates with and assists the parents or legal guardians, who are the primary educators of their children. Along with teaching Catholic dogma, doctrine, and morals, Sacred Heart School maintains a strong, innovative curriculum. It is our goal to promote a school atmosphere that is enlivened by Gospel values, intellectual proficiency, and self-esteem.
