The 8th grade class is studying the Lewis and Clark expedition. We are learning about the route, people, including the Native American tribes they encountered, animals, and plants discovered along the way. Today we reviewed some of the actual journal entries and then created our own journal based on the plants and animals they wrote about using our Kids Discover article. We are also reading about the trip with historical fiction.
