The 8th grade read the upcoming Gospel for this weekend, the 3oth Sunday in Ordinary Time. The Gospel focused on the Greatest Commandment, love the Lord God with all your heart, mind, soul, and your neighbor as yourself. They discussed how easy it is  to love your neighbor when you like them and get along well. They realized how hard this is to do when you do not like your neighbor, coach or classmate. The reflections they wrote contained many ideas on how to overcome these feelings and love everyone. Some of these thoughts included praying, trying to learn more about the person, and having patience. All these strategies are wise reminders for all in our daily life!
