We have a four-day week and then a four-day weekend in honor of Memorial Day. We remember with gratitude and prayers all those who have given their lives in defense of our country.
ACADEMICS
- Religion: We are taking a tour of the Liturgical Calendar and seasons of the church. No Quiz this week
- Spelling: New Spelling sort, Test on Thursday
- Music and Art Monday!
- Reading: RRJ #30 Non-Fiction or Fiction. So much good reading is happening in 4th grade! We are all learning so much about history through our historical fiction books.
- Math: We are finishing Unit 9 by learning how to multiply and divide decimals. The unit test will be on Thursday. Starting next week we will be doing standards-based math assessments and a variety of other math activities.
- Writer’s Workshop: This week we will edit and then write the final drafts for chapters one and two. We will continue work on chapter three, our “small moment” stories which take place during the mission period.
