In connection with the Sacred Heart Parish, the middle school classes are also celebrating “The Year of Faith”. The students all reviewed the many prayers listed on the brochure and chose a new prayer to add to their daily prayers. Many students found peace and love in the Act of Faith and Act of Hope prayers.

Since the schedules have changed a bit this week for the middle school collaborative group projects 8th grade had Gospel Wednesday today! The Gospel told about the great faith a blind man had in Jesus. The class reflected on how hard it would be to be blind and to not even see Jesus and yet still experience unwavering faith in him. The reflections this week  focused on a time in the student’s life when Jesus opened their eyes.

The middle school also participated in a beautiful living rosary with the entire school. Each student did a great job being a “bead” of the rosary and leading the congregation in a prayer.
