The 7th grade class is studying the Eastern Roman Empire and the Silk Road. To understand the challenges and hardships of traveling the Silk Road they played an interactive game trying to buy enough food and form caravans to safely make it to the next town. They worked in partners and quickly realized what a perilous journey the traders faced!
