During the month of March, funds raised by the free dress day on Wednesday, March 19, will go to St Julie School in Uganda, a mission of The Sisters of Notre Dame. Founded in 1995, The Sisters of Notre Dame “continue to sponsor the mission in Uganda where sisters have built one of the top-ranked high schools in the country, a primary school, a preschool, and a convent that has attracted many young women to religious life. The SND schools are committed to serving the poorest rural people, and offering them a high-quality education.” For more information about St Julie School, please go to http://www.sndca.org/uganda-mission/ and http://www.sndky.org/pages/ugandamission/default/uganda/.
Mrs. Benner
Education at Sacred Heart School is centered in Christ and is concerned with the development of the whole child. We are committed to helping students grow in trust and devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus as well as to helping them grow in the spirit of prayer, service and leadership in the Christian community. Sacred Heart School cooperates with and assists the parents or legal guardians, who are the primary educators of their children. Along with teaching Catholic dogma, doctrine, and morals, Sacred Heart School maintains a strong, innovative curriculum. It is our goal to promote a school atmosphere that is enlivened by Gospel values, intellectual proficiency, and self-esteem.
