With all grade levels using reading logs as a daily homework assignment, school families may be searching for books for their student(s). Adult family members are always welcome to use our well-stocked library to increase the available reading material. Mrs. Salomon will add family information to our recordkeeping system on the first visit, and then up to 6 books may be checked out at any time by adult family members. This amount is in addition to the book(s) each student checks out weekly. As any library, a fine will be enforced for books kept longer than the one-week checkout period unless you renew. Mrs. Salomon begins and ends the school day in the library and is available at other times as well. Please contact library@sacredheartschoolventura.org to arrange a time to check out books for your student(s) and/or yourself.
Mrs. Benner
Education at Sacred Heart School is centered in Christ and is concerned with the development of the whole child. We are committed to helping students grow in trust and devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus as well as to helping them grow in the spirit of prayer, service and leadership in the Christian community. Sacred Heart School cooperates with and assists the parents or legal guardians, who are the primary educators of their children. Along with teaching Catholic dogma, doctrine, and morals, Sacred Heart School maintains a strong, innovative curriculum. It is our goal to promote a school atmosphere that is enlivened by Gospel values, intellectual proficiency, and self-esteem.
