From January 2nd through Tuesday, January 25th, you can earn extra eScrip contributions by purchasing items at Vons with the “10% Back to Schools”  tag. 10% of the price is automatically donated back to Sacred Heart School if your Vons card is registered with us.  The bottom of your receipt will provide an update on your purchase amount.

If your card is registered, do nothing more. eScrip will tally the extra funds and forward the earnings to us later this year.  If your card is not registered, from January 29th through February 28th,  a redemption code will print on the bottom of your receipt. Turn in the UNREDEEMED certificate to receive that credit. Please be sure to include the student’s name and grade for proper credit. Ask friends and neighbors for their receipt. If the person in front of you at Vons gets a redemption code, ask if you can have it for our school. The schools earning the most money receive a bonus from eScrip. Remember that the code must be unredeemed in order to receive credit.

Because of this promotion, your receipt may temporarily not include the message, “Your qualifying purchases have been accumulated towards eScrip.” Your receipt will either reflect the amount purchased for this promotion, or aredemption code.  A redemption code indicates that your card is not registered at all! The “eScrip” message should return to the receipts in February.
