The 6th grade is completing their study on ancient Egypt. After taking several tests on the subject matter we will spend this week doing projects to help remember the many accomplishments of the ancient Egyptians. Last week in art class the art teacher taught them about how the artists back then drew the people for the many reliefs placed in temples and pyramids. The students then wrote their names in hieroglyphics to label the picture. When we finish Egypt we are off to ancient China!
