It was great to see everyone at the Spring Fling.  The students really enjoyed themselves.  I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend.  We have the Spring Program this Wednesday night.  The students have been doing an excellent job.  I’m so proud of them!  They are very excited about Wednesday night.  This Friday is a noon dismissal for a meeting.

Below is an overview of our week:

Science:  We will have our test this Friday on chapter 8.  We will be reviewing for the test this week.

Social Studies:  We had our chapter 7 test today.  We begin work on chapter 8 on Tuesday.  We will be comparing and contrasting the British army to the Continental army.

Math:  We are working on finding the area and perimeter of complex figures.

Voc: Unit 16

Spelling: Unit 32

Religion:  We are talking about families and the supporting roles we play as part of our family.  In class we are having discussions about always making the right choices.

English:  Students are working on making up their own inventions.  They have been very creative in their writing.

Lit:  To go along with  our Social Studies unit we will be reading Revolutionary War on Wednesday.
