Happy Columbus Day! Picture Retakes will be this Wednesday, and Friday is a half-day. There are several tests this week and next; spellingcity.com and sadlierconnect.com are both excellent resources for review games, as well as studiesweekly.com. Students are familiar with all of these websites. If you have not sent back your child’s progress report, please do so this week.
THE WEEK AHEAD:
Religion: We are beginning Unit 2 with Chapter 5, which focuses our attention on following the example of Jesus. Students are bringing home the parent letter for Unit 2.
Math: We are finishing up work on Unit Two. We will have the test on Wednesday. Students need to complete ixL Math skills J 4 and J 5 by next Monday.
Reading Workshop: We continue learning strategies for becoming stronger readers. Students should be reading the same book at school and at home, using a new reading log at the start of each week. Please sign the reading log for all reading done at home. Click here for a copy of the reading log. reading-log
