Dear Second Grade Families,
FLAT PEOPLE UPDATE: The Flat People are just about ready to go! Photographs have been taken. Letters of introduction need to be written and envelopes addressed and stamped. Please reassure your child’s host that they will be receiving mail soon. Stay tuned!
SAINTS: Saint selection was done on Friday, lottery style. Some saints are known and some not so known. Hopefully we will expand our knowledge of the “Heroes of Our Faith.” The assignment is coming home today with all the supplies needed.
HOMEWORK: Please remember anything completed at home needs to be signed by a parent/guardian. Help your child to ‘proof’ their work before signing and returning. Second Graders are to do their own writing on all assignments, including their name.
HELP NEEDED: If you need service hours, we need donations for the second grade treasure box. Items can be found at 99-cent store, $1.00 section of Target, Big Lots, etc., just to name a few places. We will appreciate your generosity.
FREE DRESS; Wednesday, October 12, $1.00, wear blue or pink for a cure for cancer.
