Hello Third Grade Families,

Thursday is our field trip to the Chumash Museum in Thousand Oaks. Remember to turn in your permission slips no later than Wednesday. An e-mail was sent last week with all necessary details.

Math: We will complete Unit 6: Geometry with a test on Wednesday.

Reading: This will be a review week. Take some time to practice those skills that have been introduced thus far in the year.

Homework: 100 minutes (minimum) read & logged on Reading Glue

Writer’s Workshop: We will be returning to informational writing!

Science: The School Fair is fast approaching. This week will be dedicated to preparing and creating our solar system project in class.

Social Studies: Thursday is our field trip to the Chumash Museum in Thousand Oaks. Remember to pack a lunch and wear your uniform. Comfortable shoes are recommended.

Religion: The class will be completing the Virtus: Safety lessons this week. Please take some time this week to talk with your child about the importance of setting appropriate boundaries in relationships as well as seeking out safe adults.
