Hello Third Grade Families,
Progress Reports will be going home tomorrow along with student work and the April family envelope. Please remember to sign and return the envelope no later than Thursday so that they may be used again.
Math: The Unit 7 Progress Check (test) is currently scheduled for Wednesday, April 1st.
As always, see the Home Links at www.everydaymathonline.com for extra practice and review. Your child’s username and password can be found in his/her planner.
There will be no assigned IXL skills for homework this week.
Spelling: Since this is a short week, there will be no spelling words assigned. Instead, we will pick up with Unit 29 after the break.
Vocabulary: We will begin our next unit after the break as well.
Grammar: Adjectives continued! Students will continue with Unit 4 focusing this week on a review of Lesson 29 and a lesson on #30. As always, students can study along at the Grammar Workshop website. Login information can be found inside your child’s planner.
Reading: This week we will begin new and improved reading groups! With so many changes and a short week upon us, there will be no reading assigned reading log or fluency passage. Instead, enjoy a good book at your leisure.
Religion: We will learn all about Holy Week as we prepare for the coming of Easter. Feel free to join us in the Church Wednesday afternoon for Station of the Cross. We will also attend mass that morning.
