Math: Unit 8 – Fractions! The class will begin with a review followed by lessons 8.1-8.4. As always, see the Home Links at www.everydaymathonline.com for extra practice and review. Your child’s username and password can be found in his/her planner.

Vocabulary: We will begin Unit 15 this week. Go to the Vocabulary Workshop website for words and definitions. Login information can be found in your child’s planner.

Grammar: This week we move from adjectives on to adverbs. We will cover Lessons 31 and 32.

Reading: We continue with our new and improved reading groups! At home, please continue to prepare for the poetry contest. As a reminder, each student will be reciting a poem to the class next week.

Social Studies: The class will begin a new unit on government and citizenship. We will learn all about rules in communities.

Science: We will now turn our attention to life science where we will learn all about adaptations to land and water.
