This Sunday is the 33rd Sunday in Ordinary Time. In the Gospel Luke recalls when Jesus was asked about the end of the world. Jesus replies and states, “See that you not be deceived, for many will come in my name, saying, ‘I am he,’ and ‘The time has come.’ Do not follow them! When you hear of wars and insurrections, do not be terrified; for such things must happen first, but it will not immediately be the end.” The class discussed the importance of having faith in Jesus and not worrying about the end of time. They also shared great ideas on how to enjoy each day and do their part to be part of the Kingdom of God.
