The 6th grade class is studying Ancient China. We just learned about the long lasting Zhou Dynasty. To keep the country stable after they fell, Confucius taught his philosophy about respect and how to treat others. The students then researched many of his quotes and wrote one down that spoke to them. We had a wonderful discussion about the meanings of many of his sayings. Next we will learn about the Qin dynasty.
