This week in 4th grade we begin discussing the Beatitudes. Jesus gave us the Beatitudes to help us find true happiness both in this life and our lives to come.

St. Francis of Assisi wrote a beautiful song-prayer called “Canticle of the Sun” as a way to praise and thank God for all of the wonders of the world. Today, we followed St. Francis’ example and wrote our own canticles. Here are a few of our own beautiful song-prayers.
