Dear Parents,                          November 20, 2017

As Thanksgiving is just around the corner, I would like to take this time to thank all of you for your support of our school. It is a blessing to see and teach your children each day.

Here’s what we are doing in first grade…

Language Arts: We are working on learning a bit more about colonial life. We will be completing a colonial life mini book.

Math: We are working on Unit 4 for just a bit. We will review a few things during our limited time together and we will have a bit of fun with exploring math materials.

Science: We are still in a break from science so we may prepare for our Thanksgiving play!

Social Studies: We are preparing for our Thanksgiving play that we will perform in class on November 22nd. Our performance will begin at 11:30.

Religion: This week we are focusing on the people and things that we are thankful for.

Homework for the Week:

  • Monday: Math Worksheet
