Dear Parents,                          March 19, 2018

Congratulations to Jayden for being the winner of the primary level for the Palmisano Writing Contest! We are proud of all of our finalists in first grade – Olivia, Khloe, Connor, and Sofia!

Here’s what we are doing in first grade…

Science: We will jump back into science with the topic of weather!

Social Studies: We will be taking a mini-break from social studies this week, as we get back into rhythm with science!

Religion: We will be reading from our textbooks about Jesus’ Gift of Himself. In addition, we will begin Benjamin’s Box this week- a beautiful story to help explain the this holy time to young students.

We will begin celebrating Read Across America this week! If your student reads at least 5 more minutes than the assigned 20 minutes of reading per night, they will be given a raffle ticket to be entered into a drawing held on April 13!
