This week in first grade, we are learning…
Language Arts: We will be taking a quick break from our regular lessons this week to work on our sequencing skills. We will be completing a book report within class and doing a fun language art activity for our 100th day of school on Wednesday!
Spelling: We will not have new spelling words this week!
Math: We will be continuing on with our math unit. We will be focusing on comparison number stories and the strategies we can use to solve number stories.
Religion: We will be reading from our family life series this week focusing on how we grow and learn.
Science: We will be reviewing a bit of animals through our language art lessons on sequencing.
Social Studies: We will be wrapping up our unit on life in a community. We will be taking our test at the end of the week!
Homework for the Week:
- Tuesday: Just Read
- Wednesday: Just Read
- Thursday: Math Worksheet
- Friday: Read two times!
Reminders for the Week:
- PE Uniforms on Tuesday and Thursday!
- Please remind your child to bring their library book on Tuesday so that they may check out a new one.
- Friday is a full day of school!
