We will begin our Catholic Schools week on Friday with a Mass and Parent Appreciation Day. Please join us in Church at 8:30 a.m. Refreshments and classroom visits will be after Mass. Please look at our school newsletter for next week’s activities.

Friday: Parent’s Day with noon dismissal! Please meet us by the main entrance of the church. If you are not attending, please let me know. I always make sure your child is with an assistant. 🙂

RELIGION: Please practice at home. We are reviewing the steps of Reconciliation.
These are a few things we will be discussing this week: What do you say and do when you walk into a confessional? What is absolution? Penance?
LANGUAGE ARTS:
READING: I am allowing students to bring in one non-fiction book to read in class from home. Please make sure you label your child’s book with your family name. We are learning how to identify keywords and remembering our new knowledge.
SPELLING: Students will be taking their spelling test next Monday due to our special day on Friday.
MATH: We are completing Unit 4 and reviewing this week. This has been a challenging chapter for students especially the rounding addition problems to check their answers. We will take our test next Wednesday. I will send home a review worksheet today with students. Review worksheet is for home use only and does NOT need to be returned. We will begin Unit 5 next week.
SCIENCE/SOCIAL STUDIES: Completeing magnet unit and beginnning sound unit/Important landmarks, president, and inventions.
