We are busy this week with Reconciliation, Library, Stations of the Cross and a few tests. I hope to see you on Wednesday.

Homework:

NO IXL: I sent home math review worksheets. Students will be taking their math test on Friday.

IN THE SECOND GRADE CLASSROOM…

RELIGION: We will continue practicing our steps of Reconciliation. Please review the booklet I sent home last week in their homework folder.  The students are prepared for this Sacrament.  I sent a note home today regarding our special day.  If you have any questions, please send me an email.

LANGUAGE ARTS:

READING:   We will become experts on a topic the next two weeks and present to the class.

SPELLING: Spelling test will be on Friday.  All groups have new sorts today.  Please review words on spelling city.

MATH: We begin this week with reviewing unit 5.  We do begin our new unit midweeek.

SCIENCE: We begin our science fair project this week.  It’s all about LIMA BEANS!!!

As you may know, Mrs. Wipper is in our class every morning for about 1 hour a day, Monday through Thursday via Skype.    She meets with about 4-6 students a day during reading time.  She spends time with students in groups and at times one on one.  The students and I love having her work with us during reading.  She will be visiting us on March 9th.  Our class is super excited about her visit at SHS.
