Reading Log
PEEK AT OUR WEEK
Reading: We are focusing on how to make our reading fluent. Here are a few goals we are working on: Reading in bigger scoops, Talk like the character, Make your voice match the mood, and read at the “just right” pace.
Writing: Working on lab reports. 🙂
Spelling: Spelling Test will be on Monday.
Science: Rocks and Minerals
Social Studies: Being Good Citizens
Math: We will be taking our math test on Wednesday. Last week, I sent home a review sheet for chapter 7. We started fractions. We made some squares and practiced fractions. Check their homework folder! We will be having some yummy fraction activities this week and next. I will be bringing in some M&M’s, graham crackers and goldfish. I would need an email confirming your child can eat these snacks while learning about fractions.
