Dear Second Grade Families,

Thank you for taking a little time of your day to meet with me during conference week.  It was great talking about the progress your child has made throughout the 1st trimester.   If you have any questions, feel free to send me an email.

Important:  I spoke to all of you about the reading level your child is currently in for reading.  I recommend Scholastic BookWizard. Click on Search my Reading Level (A-Z).  Type in your child’s level and it gives you a list of books.  There are also apps that help you find out the level of book your child is reading.  Please match the level I recommended with a book your child is reading.  If you have forgotten the book level, please let me know and I will send you an email.  I am looking into a great website which has leveled books on line and comprehension questions and quizzes that go along with your child’s reading level.   This will help with comprehension.  I will keep you posted on this site in my next newsletter.

If you have further questions regarding our conference please let me know.

Blessings,

Mrs. Vazquez
