Dear Second Grade Parents,
Hope the long weekend was an enjoyable one. This week again will be a short week with lots to do.
Thank you to the room moms & parent volunteers for our fabulous Valentine’s celebration. The children enjoyed every minute of our party. Thank you for all the Valentine treats and good wishes.
First Reconciliation for your second grader will be on Wednesday, April 17th at 1:00 P.M. Parents (only), hope you can join us in the church for this sacramental celebration. Parents are invited (and encouraged) to go to confession as well. There will be a celebration following the church service. Godparents or sponsors for this sacrament and First Holy Communion are not required. Look in the Family Envelope for further information.
Take A LOOK at our Week:
FLAT PERSON PROJECT: The second part of the flat person project is coming home on Friday. Just a reminder that as much mail as possible needs to be neatly displayed on the board. Then any leftovers can be mounted in a thin binder. Thank you for your guidance with this. This completed project can come to school on March 5. School Fair is Wednesday,March 6. You will need to purchase a presentation board and cut it in half. If you need to have an idea of what size, please stop by the classroom to see a sample.
Homework: Common Core Homework & Reading Log. Look below in math to find a new math website that I would like the students to use at least 3 times a week to get some math fact practice. They must turn in at least one level they have passed. Thank you for your support.
