A short but productive week!

This weekend we take the time to thank and honor the veterans who have served our country.

Important Dates

  • Wednesday, November 10: 12p dismissal
  • Thursday, November 11: No School-Veterans Day!
  • Friday, November 12: No School-School Holiday!

Weekly Homework

  • NO IXL
  • NO fluency
  • 60 minutes of reading (20 minutes a night)
  • NO READO

Sneak Peek to our Academic Week

math: This week we will continue to relate multiplication and division, working through number stories for both!

reading: As we read into our nonfiction books, we will relate back to reading skills learned during our fiction unit and working to approach our non-fiction books in ways that great readers do!

writing: This week we will continue to lay the bricks of information and begin drafting our informational books chapter by chapter.

word work: There is no word work this short week!

religion: This week we will continue to learn about three specific saints- Saint Clare, Saint Francis, and Saint Joan of Arc. On Wednesday morning we will get to see our primary grade Saints march around campus!

science: This week we will work to solve the mystery-“What Kind of animals might there by in the future?” by learning about how new breeds of animals are created by mating (selecting) animals with desirable traits.

social studies: All about Veterans Day.
