- math: This week we work hard through our measurement unit. We will explore perimeter & area. Then we will begin looking into the relationship between area & multiplication.
- reading: As we wrap up our non-fiction reading unit, we will continue to read & pay close attention to the text features found in our texts. Some examples of text features include: table of contents, headings, bold words, captions, maps, diagrams, timelines, glossary, etc! We will study each and discuss the importance of them.
- writing: We have begun the informational writing drafting process! This week we will work specifically on our introductions and conclusions.
- word work: Due to our Book Fair, there is no word work this week. We will pick up where we left off next Monday 🙂
- religion: We will read about, discuss, and apply The Ten Commandments to our everyday lives. This week we will also work through our Virtus lessons, talking all about internet safety.
- science: In this science unit, we will explore the water cycle & phases of matter, as we dive into the mystery question, where do clouds come from?
- social studies: All about landforms!
Have a great week,
Miss Poindexter
