Sneak Peek To Our Academic Week
- math: We spend this week reviewing all math concepts learned this school year as well as take some assessments in order to celebrate our growth & progress!
- reading: This week in our character study unit, we begin paying close attention to the secondary characters in our books. Although they are not the “main character” they still play a very important role in the main character’s lives. We will study how they help our main character’s along the story mountain.
- writing: We finish up the last bit of publishing of our informational writing pieces!
- word work: Spelling words can be found in your child’s planner & on Kids A-Z app. Spelling tests are scheduled for this Friday.
- religion: This week is all about Saint Patrick, The Stations of the Cross, and Lent! We will check in with ourselves during this Lenten journey, as we ask ourselves how we can continue to share God’s light each day. Every Wednesday afternoon, at 2p, we will attend The Stations of the Cross put on by our 8th grade friends. Please join us if your schedule permits!
- science & social studies: No science or social studies this week as our Friday will be taken up by the Almost Spring Showcase & Sweets! We cannot wait to show off some great work to all who come by!
